SMKA and Craft have been working on an album titled, “The Solar-Hop Chronicles” for over a year now, but it’s still a work in progress. This summer SMKA & Aleon Craft, with the help of Mick Boogie & Terry Urban, are releasing The Stargazing Soundtrack to give fans a small glimpse at what’s to come. The Stargazing Soundtrack is comprised of songs, primarily produced by SMKA, that Aleon Craft will be performing during the Atlanta Stargazing Tour this summer. We are filming a short documentary of Aleon Craft’s performances @ the 6 shows on the Atlanta Stargazing Tour, which will accompany the project. (more details below)
The Stargazing Soundtrack is due out in early August and features appearances from a healthy dose of Decatur rappers & friends: Nappy Roots, Hollyweerd, Mikkey Halsted, Bobby Creekwater, Playboy Tre, Grip Plyaz, Young Scolla, Jarren Benton, Gripplyaz, Tom P, C# Sharp and additional production from Sol Messiah, Doe & Roundtable Kings.
A traditional “Stargazing Tour,” consists of touring the night sky looking at the stars from different landmarks. The Atlanta Stargazing Tour is slightly different. The AST is a summer concert series that takes place at 6 different, and unique, locations throughout Atlanta. The focus of the AST is to showcase Atlanta’s brightest young artists, from various genres, while creating a distinctive and fun atmosphere for a musical performance. Aleon Craft is perfoming song off his upcoming project, The Stargazing Soundtrack @ all 6 events, and is creating a documentary of the tour with director, Dustin Chambers.
“Strange” is the first of several short videos directed by Dustin Chambers, off Aleon Craft: The Stargazing Soundtrack hosted by Mick Boogie & Terry Urban…out August 2010.

“And now, ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the Great American Mixtape, Side B, by Anatomy Magazine and Mick Boogie and Terry Urban. The wait has been long enough, the work has been hard enough and we’re sure, for some of you, that the sign up has been enough of an fucking headache. But consider the project done, here in the can, and ready to rock!
World, meet Anatomy Magazine’s Great American Mixtape: Side B, by Mick Boogie & Terry Urban. This side, in contrast to The Hood Internet release, features America’s favorite rock hits translated into block rockin’ hip-hop tracks ready to kick a hole in your speakers and your perception of the genre. That is because Side B of the Great American Mixtape does something that no other mixtape has done before: It truly cross pollinates rock music artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Guns and Roses, The Doors and Led Zeppelin with hip hop into one comprehensive and radiant piece of work with thought provoking soundscapes that reveal everything that the hip-hop genre can be.” – Anatomy Magazine
